Mayoral Forum: Tacoma’s Housing Crisis

Join community members and housing advocates for an exciting conversation!
11:00am food and fellowship / 12:00pm forum
Four Mayoral candidates (Steve Haverly, John Hines, Anders Ibsen and Whitney Stevens) will hear from tenants, workers and community members with lived experience of the housing crisis, then address questions on policy in four key areas.
The forum is hosted by Pastor Shalom Agatrap in First United Methodist Church’s beautiful sanctuary, and moderated by Michael Williams, Vice President of the Tacoma Education Association.
Come early for food and fellowship, 11:00am-noon in the Common Good parking lot (behind the building), then join for a welcoming and the candidate forum, noon-1:30pm and community debrief 1:30-2:00pm.

Devin will be tabling with Tacoma and Pierce County DSA and Tacoma For All at this year’s Tacoma Pride Festival in Wright Park, then joining other LGBTQ+ champion candidates on stage at 2:00pm. Come get your pride on and say hi!
